Equipment

In addition to our all our engineering, we perform nearly all our manufacturing processes in house.
Here is a list of our equipment.

  • Shear: 10' 7ga steel
  • Punch: Pega Queen 345 CNC Turret Punch Press
  • Deburr: Tub Vibrator and Stationary Belts
  • Form: RG-100 10' 100 Ton and RG-50 5' 50 Ton Brakes
  • Welding: MIG, TIG, Brazing, Silver Soldering
  • Machining: 2 Mills and a Lathe
  • CNC MAchining: HAAS cnc Mill
  • Tube Forming: Pines Bender and Ercolina Roller
  • Sheet Rolling: 2' Slip Rollers, 4' slip rollers
  • Insertable Fasteners: PEMSerter 12 ton press
  • Finishing: Full in-house Powder Coating and Silk Screening

  • Shearing:
Alloy Fabricators is capable of shearing any type of sheet metal.  Typical materials are carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless.  Shearing accuracy is normally between .007" and .020".  The lighter the gauge, the more accurate the cut.  Standard stocked sheet size is 48x120.  Parts are cut to customer specifications.

    CNC Punching:
Our 33 ton Amada Pega Turret Press can punch holes at 220 hits per minute, with accuracy over the entire sheet of .004".  It's versatility allows it to punch 7ga. steel at the heavy end, to .032 aluminum at the light end, with no drop off of accuracy. With one reposition we can process a 40 x 100" sheet.  To ensure speed and accuracy, interior holes, and outside boundaries of the piece are punched in one setup.  We carry a wide range of standard hole sizes which include: rounds, obrounds, rectangles, and more.

    Forming:
Our 100 ton x 10' Amada Press Brake is the ideal compliment to the Amada Turret Press.  Highly accurate punched flat pieces turn into highly accurate formed parts. Flange dimension accuracy can be held to less than .010",angularity to 1 degree.  120" of 11 ga. steel can be bent to 90 degrees as well as 2" of 20 ga.  Programs are stored on the computer making repeat runs less time consuming to set up.  Complimenting the RG-100, is an Amada RG-50 - 50 ton 5' press brake. This machine is normally used for long runs of small pieces and special applications.

    Tube Bending:
We have a CNC Pines tube bender in house, as well as an Ercolina three roll bender.  From tight corners to sweeping curves, we can find a way to manufacture all your tubing projects.  We have a variety of tooling ready to use with your design, and we have the ability to create the necessary dies for your specific needs.

    Welding:
Our skilled welders have the experience and the equipment necessary to professionally handle your welding needs.  We can MIG, TIG, Braze, and Silver Solder in house.  Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and brass can all be fused or welded here.  Complimenting our welding department is a fully equipped grinding and polishing area.  This means your welds are reliable and they will look good too.  Combine these services with our powder coating, and it's sometimes impossible to see the welds.  Let us take a look at your weldment and we can come up with a solution.

    PEMSerter (Insertable Fastener Machine):
Insertable fasteners are the perfect way to include threads in thin sheet metal.  These economical fasteners give us the flexibility to include both threaded nuts as well as studs in our designs.  Aside from the usual threads, there are many other features such as tie downs and panel fasteners that are all "pressed" in using our PEMSerter machine.

    CNC Machining:
One of our newest machines, our HAAS CNC machining center has been a welcomed addition to our company.  This 3 axis machine can be programmed directly by the operator on the floor, or by an engineer in the office.  It's accuracy, repeatability, and ease of use make this machine a prime choice for our cost reduction and quality improvement goals.

    Inspection Equipment:
The best way to insure our parts meet our customers specifications is to properly inspect them during fabrication.  We have a granite surface plate, digital height gauges, parallels, squaring plates, and pin gauges.  A trained inspector uses these tools to verify the features of the pieces we make.  As an added service to our customers, we also offer official "in process" inspection (to satisfy quality requirements).
