Shearing:
Alloy Fab is capable
of shearing any type of
sheet metal. Typical materials are:carbon
steel, aluminum, and stainless.
Shearing accuracy is normally in the .007-.020 range.
The lighter the gage the more accurate the
cut.
Standard stocked sheet size is 48x120. Parts are cut to customer specs,with
the customer only paying for the size required. Typically,
shearing is the lowest cost operation in a fab
shop.
CNC Punching:
Our 33 ton Amada
Pega Turret Press can
punch holes at 220 hits per minute, with
accuracy over the entire sheet of .004".
It's versatility allows it to punch 7ga. steel
at the heavy end, to .032 aluminum at the
light end, with no drop off of accuracy.
With one reposition we can process a 40 x
100" sheet.
To ensure speed and accuracy, interior holes, and outside boundaries of the
piece
are punched in one setup.
We carry a wide range of standard hole sizes which include;rounds,obrounds,rectangles,
and more.
